Permanent Collection

ornate table with curved legs and lots of gilding
Henry and Margaret Plant filled the Tampa Bay Hotel with an eclectic collection of late 19th century furnishings and treasures gathered from Europe and Asia. The core of the Museum collection is composed of these rare and exotic finds. Victorian styles represented include Renaissance Revival, Gothic, Rococo, Louis XV, and Egyptian Revival. The collection has a strong Asian component with hardwood and marble Chinese furniture and cabinetry. Click on any of the images below for more information on an item.
