Guided Tours

A specially trained docent will guide your party of 10 or more on a one-hour tour through the Museum highlighting Henry Plant, the City of Tampa, the Tampa Bay Hotel, the Spanish-American War, and more. This is a great outing for civic organizations, retirement communities, business trips, and other group activities.

For docent-led groups tours of 10 or more, the price is $14 for adults and $12 for seniors. Please contact us at 813.258.7302 or email dcarpenter@ut.edu to make your reservation. Guided tours are available January – October.

Group transportation is available through a variety of providers including GOGO Charters, Falcon Charter Bus, and Shofur.

Self-Guided Tours

The 45-minute audio guide offers a deeper understanding of the history of the Tampa Bay Hotel, items in our permanent collection, and the Gilded Age lifestyle.

Field Trips

Docent-led tours are available for schools, youth groups, camps, after school programs, and scouts with a minimum of 10 youth and up to 50 including chaperones and teachers. Learn more about field trips and make your reservation now! 

The Museum works with the Center for Autism and Related Disabilities at the University of South Florida to provide support and optimize the museum experience for children with autism who may visit with their families or as part of a school group. Please read our story book to help plan your next visit to the Museum.
