Louis XV style, upholstered sofa with ebonized wood, edge trimmed with gilded band, backrest crested with gilded foliage, cabriole style legs, arms are attached, outlined with wood, and upholstered at hand rest.  One of a set of seven pieces upholstered in cut velvet silk fabric similar to the original.
