Henry and Margaret Plant filled the Tampa Bay Hotel with an eclectic collection of late 19th century decorative art, furnishings, and treasures from Europe and Asia meant to impress the hotel guests and visitors. The core of the Henry Plant Museum collection is composed of these rare and exotic finds.
