View of the Plant System’s Savannah, Florida & Western line locomotive pulling into the hotel in 1893. The hotel was not the end of the line. Guests could board trains for Port Tampa where they could embark for trips to Key West, Cuba or Jamaica aboard a Plant System steamship.
