Louis XVI style clock with six sided base with lion skin draped across the base whose head and front paws are draped in front, back paws out the sides, and tail out the back. It has a curvilinear cartouche flanked by pair of Nubian figures, after Frederic Piat, one female and one male. It has pyramidal shape which is topped by an ionic capital atop the cartouche.  On top of the capital sits a sphere which holds the sunbursts of the clock face.  Bronze with an ormolu finish.
