Eerie Evening at the Henry B. Plant Museum Returns!
One of Tampa’s premiere Halloween events, “An Eerie Evening at the Tampa Bay Hotel” returns to the Henry B. Plant Museum! This year the event will run October 24-26 and 29-31 from 6-9 pm.
Step inside the moonlit halls of a Gilded Age hotel as the Henry B. Plant Museum brings Victorian era Halloween traditions to life. Meet the spirit of Edgar Allen Poe, view a collection of late 19th century horror movies including Dracula, Frankenstein and The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde and comb through exhibit rooms to discover hidden clues and decode a monstrously wicked mystery.
Macabre items from the Museum’s permanent collection as well as Ybor’s Dysfunctional Grace are scattered throughout the Museum. The Cabinet of Curiosities and hall cases are a must see featuring peculiarities such as mourning jewelry and wreaths made from human hair.
