Celebrate Sunset

Start your weekend at the Henry B. Plant Museum. One Friday of every month (except December), the Museum offers free admission from 4:30-7:00 pm. In addition to the Museum’s permanent and rotating exhibits, enjoy each month’s special program. Events range from short films to performances to curator conversations.

The lure of love is in the air, so join us this Celebrate Sunset for the history of valentine making in the Victorian period. There will be a mini lecture given by Selena Martinez, the Curator of Education, on the symbolism in Victorian valentines followed by a visual demonstration to highlight the differences between homemade and Hallmark.
