Celebrate Sunset

Start your weekend at the Henry B. Plant Museum. One Friday of every month (except December), the Museum offers free admission from 4:30-7:00 pm. In addition to the Museum’s permanent and rotating exhibits, enjoy each month’s special program. Events range from short films to performances to curator conversations.

Join us for Celebrate Sunset, where the history of the expansive Plant System comes to life through stories, photographs, and objects. The highlight of the evening features a lecture beginning at 5 PM that explores the fascinating legacy of Henry Plant's seven other grand hotels — the Inn at Port Tampa, Kissimmee Hotel, the Seminole, Punta Gorda Hotel, Hotel Belleview, Ocala House, and Fort Myers Hotel.
