Whether you’re looking for an interesting program for your group or organization or are unable to visit the Museum, the Henry Plant Museum’s Speakers Bureau will bring to you the unique history of the Tampa Bay Hotel and its visionary builder Henry Plant.
PowerPoint presentations by a Museum Curator are approximately 45 minutes long and include a question and answer session. The timeframe can be adapted to fit your group’s specific needs. Presentation topics can include Henry Plant; the Plant System of Railroads, Steamships and Hotels and their impact on Tampa’s development; the Spanish-American War; the Tampa Bay Hotel; and Gilded Age lifestyle.
The Speakers Bureau is part of the Truist Community Connection Series. There is no charge for this community service.
