One Saturday each month the Henry Plant Museum is open free of charge to all visitors.  Guests can explore the former Tampa Bay Hotel and learn about lifestyles from 130 years ago with our audio tour.  A guided tour will be offered at 2 pm.



In addition to viewing our permanent collection,  we offer a live classical music performance.  Live concerts were the most popular daily entertainment at the Tampa Bay Hotel, and we are pleased to restore this authentic tradition.  Enjoy the sounds of the harp, guitar, or violin as you explore the Museum.  This program is included with admission to the Museum.  Past performers have included: John Barr (classical guitar), Damara Besker (harp), Marlena Noland (violin), Susana Szakacs (violin).

This month guests can also enjoy learning about the exotic architecture of the Tampa Bay Hotel with "In the Shadow of the Crescent," a talk by Professor Richard Ellis at 1 pm in the Music Room.
